Become The Early Bird Who Catches The Worm – How To Wake Up Early Without The Alarm
One of the hardest habits to develop is that of waking up early. In fact, if not for the alarm, this habit may be close to impossible for a lot of people. And for some, even if they have already set the alarm, they simply sleep right through it.
And when you wake up late, you suffer a lot of consequences. For one thing, you either miss or you need to rush to get to your appointments. The pressure and panic that accompanies this activity can cause such chaos inside your mind. And when you start your day with a confused and cluttered mind, those are exactly how your thoughts and ideas will be for the rest of the day. Aside from that, you automatically miss out on the opportunities that come early in the morning.
Being late for work or appointments also won’t make a positive impression on the people you meet or work with. This also cancels out any opportunities that would have materialized in the future because your tardiness makes you come off as irresponsible and unreliable.
Do you really want a small bad habit to get in the way of your opportunities and success in life? If not, then you need to do something about the problem.
1. Set your internal alarm clock. Do you want to wake up almost magically, at the right time, every single morning, even without an alarm clock? Some people call it their body clock, but in reality, it’s not the body that’s at work when this happens. It’s actually the mind. After all, it’s your mind that wakes up from its slumber.
The mind has an internal clock too. Instead of setting your alarm clock, why don’t you set the alarm on your internal clock? This is a more effective way to get you out of bed, no matter how sleepy you think you are.
To set your internal alarm clock, you first have to clear your brain so your mind will function at its highest and most alert mode. Then once your mind is clear, you can program it to wake up early using subliminal messages.
Here are some examples:
Waking up early comes naturally to me.
I wake up early every day.
My internal clock wakes me up on time.
I wake up fully alert and energized.
Getting out of bed early is easy and beneficial.
The best thing about waking up from within your subconscious mind is that you don’t have to struggle to get out of bed. Getting out of bed will feel natural and easy. Waking up early won’t be a chore anymore.
2. Focus on the benefits of waking up early. Ask anyone and you’ll see that most of us feel negative about waking up early. We think it’s a big chore, and we look forward to weekends and holidays when we can sleep in. If you think this way, your mind will continue to resist waking up early.
So if you want to get your mind to wake up early on its own, you have to focus on the benefits of doing so. Think about all the opportunities you can catch in the morning, all the tasks you can finish before it’s even brunch time, and all the free time you’ll get later on when you finish your work early. In some occupations, waking up early is part of the recipe for success, and if your mind recognizes this connection, then it will be motivated to wake up at the right time every day.
